It is 2:00 a.m., and I am eating my third piece of bread and butter after work, in the quiet house, doing my usual perusingofblogsafterwork. Yeah, that Self.com diet challenge was great...for 3 days...till I got hungry...and tired of spending all that time calculating and recording. Go, carbs!!!!!!
Does anyone else have to work really hard to stay afloat in this life, or at least appear to be? Sheesh! If only I could just say what kinds of things I deal with and struggle with and overcome.......
The weather has been a bit uptight--not very summery. We took my Mother-in-law to Olive Garden on Father's Day. The food was very hot and good. I'd post a pic, but my camera phone doesn't want to cooperate in the email category. Maybe I'm not really set up. It acts like its sending, but I guess it's just lying. My pictures are stuck in there. I tried sending them to Flickr, but that didn't work either. As Kristi said, we went to their grand new house Saturday. A delightful house and meal and family. Kristi and I did some easy crossword puzzles, which was gratifying, since we were able to get most if not all the answers together. And have some great laughs.
Tomorrow, Zach is going to start picking raspberries here in the valley for money. Only a few hours a day. But he has to be there in 5 stinkin hours!
I'm going to go to bed like a good girl.
Do you need to hear "I love you"? Well, heck, I love you, ok?!

Ummm...I am related to JJ, and my maiden name rhymes with "raisin."
2 a.m. posts rock.
Shakespeare said it best, as he often did, when he penned "... the very witching time of night, when churchyards yawn and hell itself breathes out ..."
try being a diabetic, when life itself hangs on how many carbs you've just consumed :-D
5hrs eh? well, that should keep him out of mischief for a while...
There should be a cure for diabetes already. I was pretty pleased at Zach's "on top of the world definitely out of mischief" attitude when he came back from berry picking! "Raisin' cane," Shakespeare is what really rocks! Midnight is truly ever so groovy!
