What's new? I got a bold new hair cut--short and asymmetrical. She actually screwed it up. I asked for Victoria Beckham but got half Victoria( I flatter myself there) and half Reba MacEntire. A week later, the tortured misery has finally started to ease. Some people have complimented, some have looked away with a smirk, some have studied without saying anything. Yes, I am vain, and disappointed. I was actually really depressed for days. But I am getting the hang of making it look as cute as possible with my thin locks and long neck.
So...we are probably going to move next spring to a house my Dad is going to build. That's what it looks like so far. Our current one might have a for sale sign up soon, and if it sells before the other is built, we'd have to rent.
Should I be bold and crazy and homeschool all the kids next month? That'd be stupid, right? And hasty? With me barely able to spare 5 minutes straight for 1 kid for anything many days.
How do I know what's right? Or do I just say, again, the girls will have to wait till a more opportune time, like hopefully, next year. One of the hopes for moving would be that we could live there on one income, which would dramatically change my homeschooling capabilities.

Lori Redman, you look like totally gorgeous! Very classy! What did not look classy, however, was me as I snorted water out my nose with laughter when I read "half Victoria, half Reba". Sorry you were disappointed though, hate that!

Posh forever!

Wow, you look fabulous! You were very brave to cut off your beautiful locks. It's funny that as you're going for a short haircut I'm trying to grow mine out. Sorry you hated it at first. Nothing more depressing and discouraging than a haircut you don't like. You can't escape it. You look great in the pix, though. It's a cute style for you.

Did you gals not notice that it's an ASYMMETRICAL BOB?!?!? I totally didn't ask for it. I wasn't being brave by asking for it, but I am being brave and humble while I outgrow it and pretend that I am this dramatic person that really asked for this crooked haircut that nobody else gets. But thank you for your sweet words, anyway. I am thrilled that I made water come out your nose, JJ. And, Jill, who is also a JJ, sometimes I feel like I look more like you--the short haired side, anyway.

Hey Lori! It's a fab haircut! Really suits you as the Brits say:) If you could just perfect a pout you'd look even more Victoria-ish:)

I got some new pink sunglasses, and I like to pretend I'm more Victoria-ish in them. Guess I'll have to work on my pout, dontcha know. :)

I think I remember when something like this happened to your mother. Ask her about it.

I have a vague recollection of her getting a haircut and having it turn out much shorter than she expected.

It, of course, was cuter than she thought it was. And, yours is too.
